2023 starts with a bang

Two more trials now started with one major roll-out

2023 has started with a bang on the new business front with two new trials started with large UK FM organisations and another which has gone from a trial to a full UK roll-out.

With inflationary pressures, lack of labour availability, and supply chain issues, an increasing number of FM providers are seeking to challenge the status quo.

By removing probably the biggest cost to the FM sector, wasted time, fuel and resources, the simplyonsite system is continuing to transform mobile engineer contracts by boosting engineer productivity by up to 30%.

Problems with branches

For one contract, they were having huge issues collecting lighting, electrical and compliance materials from branch-based wholesalers, with one branch managing the UK wide contract and arranging transport to pick up points at other branches.

Alongside long lead times, there was no knowing when orders would be ready to collect, not to mention the 250+ hours of time per engineer that were being wasted collecting from wholesalers.

With the simplyonsite system, their orders are now distributed direct to site with automated notifications, keeping planning teams and engineers in the loop, dramatically improving both lead times and engineer productivity.

One-size doesn’t fit all

With existing supply chains, another contract was finding that their regularly used products were always on long lead times, and basic requirements were just another quote.  Having experienced the support from RLT Onsite previously, the contracts manager asked for RLT Onsite to be able to start supplying.

Now they have Key Account Manager support, whilst we are building up a stock profile of regular items they use so we can continue to support them with rapid delivery on unusual items they require.

Waited time… Wasted time

Waiting for materials is just a waste of time, but one national mobile engineer team were doing just that, and with no knowledge of when the PO had been raised by their contract support.

With the simplyonsite system, they used the app to raise quotes far more quickly which are being uploaded to their PO system for rapid raise of PO’s.  The engineer is then notified on when the goods will be on site speeding up the whole process.

After a successful trial, they are now rolling out UK-wide.
